How do I cancel my Outside Membership?

This article explains how to cancel your Outside Plus membership to stop auto-renewal while retaining access until the period ends. You can cancel via the subscription page or profile settings on outsideonline.com. If purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, Gaia GPS, Trailforks, or MapMyFitness, cancel through those platforms using provided links.

Canceling your subscription will stop it from auto-renewing. You will still have access to your membership through the remainder of the payment period.

To cancel your Outside Plus membership please follow these steps: 

  1. Click here to be taken to your subscription page
    1. Alternatively, sign into www.outsideonline.com and then follow these steps:
    2. Click the Profile Icon in the upper right corner of your screen
    3. Click on SUBSCRIPTION. 
    4. Click MANAGE SUBSCRIPTION
        
    5. After checking the acknowledgement box, you can proceed with the cancelation

This process only cancels the auto-renewal of your membership. It does not cancel it immediately. You will still have access to Outside Plus benefits until your membership expires. 

I don't see the 'Manage Subscription' button under Profile > Subscription. How do I cancel my subscription?

If you do not see the option to 'Manage Subscription' in the subscription section, it could be that you purchased your Outside Plus membership on a mobile platform. 

If you have a membership from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and you would like to cancel, please follow these steps: 

I bought my Outside Plus subscription via Gaia GPS, Trailforks or MapMyFitness. How do I cancel my subscription?

You may also not see the option to 'Manage Subscription' if you have purchased your Outside Plus subscription via Gaia GPS, Trailforks, or MapMyFitness and for some reason it's now allowing you to do so here. In this case, try canceling from where you originally purchased your membership:
